THE SNMA ANNUAL MEDICAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE(AMEC)IS HELD EACH SPRING IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS AROUND THE COUNTRY TO ENHANCE AND FACILITATE CAREER DEVELOPMENT, CONTINUING EDUCATION, AND NETWORKING AMONG MINORITY MEDICAL STUDENTS. AMEC ATTRACTS OVER 1,000 STUDENTS AND PROFESSIONALS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY, WHICH IS THE LARGEST GATHERING OF UNDERREPRESENTED MINORITY MEDICAL STUDENTS IN THE UNITED STATES.
THE JOURNAL OF STUDENT NATIONAL MEDICAL ASSOCIATION (JSNMA) SERVES AS AN EDUCATIONAL AND OUTREACH TOOL TO MEDICAL STUDENTS AND RESEACHERS. JSNMA IS PUBLISHED QUARTERLY ALONG WITH INTERIM CONTENT UPDATES USING REAL-TIME ACCESS TO NEWS AND INFORMATION VIA LAPTOPS AND SMART PHONES.
