THE GREENWELL FOUNDATION PROVIDES INCLUSIVE AND ACCESSIBLE PROGRAMS, SERVICES AND FACILITIES WITHIN GREENWELL STATE PARK IN HOLLYWOOD, MD. THE PARK ITSELF IS OWNED AND MAINTAINED BY THE MARYLAND PARK SERVICE, MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES. THE FOUNDATION AND DNR HAVE A UNIQUE PARTNERSHIP - THE FOUNDATION OFFERS AND RUNS VARIOUS PROGRAMS THE PARK SERVICE MAINTAINS THE PARK ITSELF. THE FOUNDATION OPERATES SEVERAL PROGRAMS IN THE PARK INCLUDING SUMMER CAMPS, HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS RECREATIONAL AND THERAPEUTIC, KAYAKING, NATURE PROGRAMS, AND VETERANS PROGRAMS.
