THE GREENWELL FOUNDATION OPERATES INSIDE GREENWELL STATE PARK, A 600-ACRE RIVERFRONT PARK. IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR MISSION, THE FOUNDATION PROMOTES THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ADVANTAGES OF SPENDING TIME IN NATURE. OUR EQUESTRIAN THERAPY AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITY PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL OF OUR COMMUNITY, WITH SPECIAL CONSIDERATION FOR THOSE WITH DISABILITIES. GREENWELL FOUNDATION IS A PRIVATE 501C3CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTED BY INDIVIDUAL DONORS, COMMUNITY BUSINESSES, CORPORATIONS AND PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS. WE EAGERLY WORK ALONGSIDE OUR PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS TO SERVE INDIVIDUALS FACING A VARIETY OF CHALLENGING DISABILITIES. WE PROVIDE EQUAL ACCESS TO THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE. THIS YEAR, STEPS WERE MADE TO DEVELOP A PILOT PROGRAM FOR OUR VETERANS RETREAT PROGRAM. WE WILL TAKE THE LESSONS LEARNED FROM INITIAL PROGRAMMING AND BUILD UPON IT TO ADDRESS VETERANS, TEENS, ADULTS, AND SENIORS STRUGGLING WITH MENTAL ILLNESS. WE STRIVE TO BECOME A SOURCE OF WELLNESS AND ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THEM AND THEIR LOVED ONES.
