PGCEA IS A TEACHERS UNION THAT PROVIDES SERVICES TO PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION, SUCH AS REPRESENTATION AND NEGOTIATION OF THE TEACHERS' CONTRACT (PAY, BENEFITS, ETC.).

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES: KEEPING MEMBERS ABREAST OF CHANGES AND EVENTS AFFECTING THEM, THEIR JOBS, AND THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM IN PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY. TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS ON TODAY'S ISSUES IN EDUCATION.
COMMUNICATIONS: PRODUCING VARIOUS PUBLICATIONS INFORMING THE MEMBERS OF ITEMS OF INTEREST AND IMPORTANCE OF THEIR PROFESSION. PUBLICATIONS FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO HELP IMPROVE THE TEACHERS' IMAGE IN THE COMMUNITY.
COMMITTEES' PROGRAM: COMMITTEES ARE ORGANIZED TO ADDRESS ISSUES ENCOUNTERED BY TEACHERS. TOPICS INCLUDE MINORITY AFFAIRS, SOCIAL AFFAIRS, TEACHER'S SAFETY, AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS.
