STEWARDSHIP - THE VINYL INSTITUTE FUNDS PROGRAMS TO ENSURE THE SAFE MANUFACTURE AND USE OF VINYL PRODUCTS. THROUGH THE STEWARDSHIP PROGRAMS, THE VINYL INSTITUTE WORKS WITH CODES AND STANDARDS-SETTING BODIES AND REGULATORY AGENCIES TO ADDRESS, IMPROVE, AND PROTECT PVC, PVC MANUFACTURING, AND VINYL PRODUCTS. THE VINYL INSTITUTE PROMOTES HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVITIES AT COMPANIES IN THE VINYL INDUSTRY THAT SAFEGUARD WORKERS AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AT MANUFACTURING FACILITIES.
MEMBERSHIPS - THE VINYL INSTITUTE PAYS MEMBERSHIP DUES TO ALLIED TRADE ASSOCIATIONS WHO WORK TO PROMOTE THE SAFE USE OF PVC/VINYL PRODUCTS. ADVOCACY - THE VINYL INSTITUTE DEFENDS AND PROMOTES THE USE OF PVC AND VINYL PRODUCTS THROUGH PARTICIPATION ON MANY CODES AND STANDARDS DEVELOPING BODIES, AND THROUGH DIRECT AND INDIRECT LOBBYING OF STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY BODIES.
