OUR TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM PROVIDES LONG-TERM TRANSITIONAL HOUSING IN HOME-LIKE SHELTERS (MARTHA HOUSE I AND II) FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN. THE MARTHA HOUSES OFFER A COMPREHENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM, AN INDIVIDUALIZED SERVICE STRATEGY FOR EACH RESIDENT, A FINANCIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM AND LIFE SKILLS WORKSHOPS, ALL DESIGNED TO PREPARE RESIDENTS TO SUCCESSFULLY LIVE INDEPENDENTLY. EMOTIONAL AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT IS ALSO PROVIDED FOR RESIDENT CHILDREN AS NEEDED. IN THIS FISCAL YEAR, TRANSITIONAL HOUSING AND TRAINING (MARTHA HOUSE I AND II) WAS PROVIDED FOR 37 ADULTS AND CHILDREN FOR A TOTAL OF 3,758 PEOPLE NIGHTS.
OUR MOTEL MINISTRY PROGRAM PROVIDES SHORT-TERM EMERGENCY HOUSING IN MOTELS FOR ANY NEEDY PERSON. IN THIS FISCAL YEAR, EMERGENCY SHELTER IN MOTELS WAS PROVIDED FOR 107 PEOPLE FOR A TOTAL OF 795 PEOPLE NIGHTS OF SHELTER.
