THE AUDUBON SOCIETY OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA IS A CHAPTER OF THE NATIONAL AUDUBON SOCIETY. OUR MISSION IS TO ENGAGE ALL NORTHERN VIRGINIA COMMUNITIES IN ENJOYING, CONSERVING, AND RESTORING NATURE FOR THE BENEFIT OF BIRDS, OTHER WILDLIFE, AND PEOPLE.

EDUCATION: CONDUCT CLASSES ON BIRDS AND OTHER WILDLIFE, NATURAL HISTORY AND CONSERVATION FOR MEMBERS AND PUBLIC. SPEAK TO LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS ABOUT BIRDS, OTHER WILDLIFE AND CONSERVATION. SPONSOR SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS FOR EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. HOLD PROGRAM MEETINGS FOUR TO FIVE TIMES A YEAR WITH SPEAKERS ON BIRDS, OTHER WILDLIFE AND CONSERVATION.
