ORCHESTRAL PROGRAM: THE SYMPHONY IN C IS ONE OF THREE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING ORCHESTRAS IN THE COUNTRY. THE ORGANIZATION IS NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED AS A LAUNCHING PAD FOR PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS, BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES IN ORCHESTRAL CONCERT AND CHAMBER MUSIC PROGRAMS.
EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH: SYMPHONY IN C PROVIDES IN-SCHOOL AND AFTER-SCHOOL INSTRUMENTAL PROGRAMS IN THE CITY OF CAMDEN AND IN NORTH PHILADELPHIA. OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDED THE ANNUAL SUMMER MUSIC CAMP AT RUTGER-CAMDEN, THE ANNUAL "CONCERTS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE" IN COLLINGSWOOD, THE "CLASSROOM SYMPHONY" ASSEMBLY PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY SCHOOLS, AND A YOUTH ORCHESTRA IN SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY THAT SERVES MUSIC STUDENTS FROM FOUR COUNTIES IN THE AREA.
