TO PROVIDE AN OFFICE STAFFED BY VOLUNTEERS WHO WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER INQUIRIES CONCERNING ALCOHOLISM AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON AL-ANONS PROGRAM, ITS PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS AS WELL AS INFORMATIVE LITERATURE CONCERNING SUCH PROGRAM. TO AQUAINT THE PUBLIC WITH THE AL-ANON PROGRAM AND ITS MISSION STATEMENT. TO ASSIST FAMILIES, FRIENDS, AND/OR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE CONFRONTED BY AN ALCOHOLIC INDIVIDUAL ON HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE DIFFICULTY ONE IS HAVING AND HELP THEM COPE WITH THE SITUATION. THE ORGANIZATIONS PURPOSE IS TO ACT AS SERVICE BOARD FOR THE VARIOUS INDIVIDUALS WITH ALCOHOLISM. AL-ANON GROUP IS LOCATIED IN ORANGE COUNTY AND AS SUCH WILL BE FULLY SELF-SUPPORTING FROM CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED FROM SUCH GROUPS.
