OPERATING A HISTORICAL MUSEUM AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE COLLECTION PRESERVATION STUDY AND EXHIBITION OF THOSE OBJECTS THAT WILL SERVE TO ILLUSTRATE THE HISTORY OF SUGAR HILL.

MUSEUM: EXPENSES INCLUDE OPERATIONS ADVERTISING MANAGEMENT AND INSURANCE. REVENUE INCLUDES MEMBERSHIPS A PORTION OF ADMISSION DONATIONS AND OTHER DONATIONS TO THE MUSEUM.


REID BURPEE HOUSE: RENOVATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PROPERTY NEXT TO THE MUSEUM KNOWN AS THE REID BURPEE HOUSE THAT IS USED TO PROVIDE SPACE FOR MUSEUM EXHIBITS AND STORAGE. IN 2021 THE OUTBUILDINGS THE GARAGE AND THE GARDEN SHED WERE RENOVATED AT A COST OF $41,064.


NORTHERN PASS ARCHIVES NPA: DEVELOP ARCHIVES FOR MATERIALS RELATED TO THE REGION'S OPPOSITION TO THE PROPOSED NORTHERN PASS PROJECT WHICH WAS REJECTED BY THE NH SITE EVALUATION COMMITTEE IN 2018. INITIAL WORK BEGAN IN 2018: SOLICITING RELEVANT MATERIALS FROM PROJECT SPONSORS. SINCE THEN VOLUNTEERS HAVE CONTINUED TO SOLICIT ORGANIZE AND CATALOG SUCH MATERIALS. IN 2020 NO EXPENSES WERE CHARAGED TO THIS PROJECT.
