AZPHA WORKS DILIGENTLY ON BEHALF OF ITS MEMBERS AND PARTNERS IN BRINGING STRONG PUBLIC HEALTH POLICIES TO THE FOREFRONT. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS TWO CONFERENCES AND MANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES EACH YEAR TO BRING TOGETHER MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR FOR LEARNING AND NETWORKING. APPROXIMATELY EIGHT HUNDRED MEMBERS WERE SERVED BY THE ORGANIZATION DURING THE YEAR. DURING THE YEAR THE ORGANIZATION BECAME MUCH MORE INFLUENTIAL BY INFORMING EVIDENCE BASED PUBLIC HEALTH POLICY RELATED TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC.
