UNDERREPRESENTED IN FAMILY MEDICINE (URM) PROGRAM - THE FOUNDATION PROGRAM FOR UNDERREPRESENTED IN FAMILY MEDICINE (URM) REFLECTS AN INITIATIVE TO INCREASE RESOURCES AND SUPPORT TO URM FACULTY, URM COMMUNITY TEACHERS, AND URM MEDICAL STUDENTS AND RESIDENTS GOING INTO ACADEMIC FAMILY MEDICINE. THE DEFINITION OF URM IN THIS CONTEXT IS RACIAL AND ETHNIC POPULATIONS UNDERREPRESENTED IN THE MEDICAL PROFESSION RELATIVE TO NUMBERS IN THE GENERAL POPULATION.
