IN 2023, VAJRAPANI INSTITUTE HOSTED A TOTAL OF 16 RETREATS: 14 RETREATS WERE HELD WITH THE TEACHERS OF THE FOUNDATION FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE MAHAYANA TRADITION (FPMT) AND 2 RETREATS WERE GROUPS FROM DIFFERENT SPIRITUAL TRADITIONS. A TOTAL OF 5 ONLINE COURSES WERE ALSO HOSTED. A TOTAL OF 340 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE RETREATS IN 2023.OF THE FPMT RETREATS, THE THEMES COVERED INCLUDED: INTRODUCTION COURSES TO BUDDHISM AND MEDITATION, NATURE OF THE MIND, BUDDHIST TANTRA AND MAHAMUDRA. WE ALSO HELD A YOUTH PROGRAM FOR FAMILIES.OF THE 2 RETREATS FROM GROUPS OF DIFFERENT TRADITIONS THAT WE HOSTED BOTH WERE MEDITATION RETREATS CONCENTRATING ON TECHNIQUES FOR STRESS REDUCTION.WE ALSO HOSTED INDIVIDUALS IN OUR SIX PRIVATE RETREAT CABINS FOR A TOTAL OF 665 PEOPLE NIGHTS AND 125 INDIVIDUALS (EQUIVALENT OF 48 PEOPLE TAKING A 2 WEEK RETREAT).
