SPONSOR, ENCOURAGE, FINANCE AND COOPERATE WITH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TO INFORM STUDENTS, AS WELL AS THE GENERAL PUBLIC, OF THE HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF OUR NATION'S

A CONTRACT INDIVIDUAL OVERSEES THE OPERATION OF FOREST HERITAGE CENTER AND ITS MUSEUM. OVER 45000 PEOPLE VISIT THE ATTRACTIONS A YEAR WITH PLANNING AND OVERSEEING OF ALL SPECIAL EVENTS.


OVER 16500 PEOPLE ATTEND THE FOLK FESTIVAL IN NOVEMBER OF EACH YEAR. FORESTRY RELATED ARTS AND CRAFTS WITH DEMONSTRATIONS OF SOME OF THE ARTS AND CRAFTS. IN 2020 THE FOLK FESTIVAL WAS CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID OUTBREAK. THE FOLK FESTIVAL DID NOT HAPPEN IN 2021.


OVER 4000 PEOPLE ATTEND THE SPRING & FALL ART EXHIBIT. INVITE PROFESSIONAL WOODCRAFTERS TO DISPLAY THEIR WORKS. THE FALL EXHIBIT WAS CANCELLED IN 2020. ONLY ONE OF THE EXHIBITS HAPPEN IN 2021.


CAMP DISCOVER & FOREST YOUTH CAMP FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE. AROUND 35 ATTEND PLUS OBSERVERS THE CAMP, WHICH MAKES CHILDREN AWARE OF THE IMPORTANCE OF FORESTS AND WOOD PRODUCTS. AWARDS LUNCHEON FOR THE TREE FARMER OF THE YEAR AND THE LOGGER OF THE YEAR.
