(MTAB), A COMPONENT UNIT OF THE CITY OF HOUSTON (THE CITY), IS A TEXAS NONPROFIT CORPORATION CREATED BY THE CITY IN 1970 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL INTERESTS OF THE PEOPLE OF HOUSTON THROUGH A CONTINUING PROGRAM OF ARTISTIC, EDUCATIONAL, AND CULTURAL EVENTS AT THE MILLER OUTDOOR THEATRE, AN AMPHITHEATER IN HERMANN PARK OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE CITY.
