EXHIBITIONS SUPPORT: FUNDING AND SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE LMF HELPED MAKE POSSIBLE THE FOLLOWING MAJOR EXHIBITIONS:I. AT THE CABILDO (JACKSON SQUARE NEW ORLEANS), A MUSEUM OF LOUISIANA HISTORY, CULTURE AND ART, AND AN 18TH CENTURY NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK THAT SERVED AS THE SEAT OF SPANISH COLONIAL LOUISIANA AND WAS THE SITE OF THE LOUISIANA PURCHASE TRANSFER IN 1803.1. A CENTURY ON HARMONY STREET: THE KOHLMAIER CABINETMAKERS OF NEW ORLEANS, AN EXHIBITION TELLING THE KOHLMAIER STORY OF A FATHER AND SON WHO SINGLE-HANDEDLY REVIVED A TRADITION OF FINE FURNITURE MAKING IN NEW ORLEANS AND A FULL COLOR HARDBACK CATALOGUE. THE LMF HOSTED THE EXHIBITION OPENING IN NOVEMBER 2021.II. AT THE PRESBYETRE (JACKSON SQUARE NEW ORLEANS), A MUSEUM OF MARDI GRAS ON THE SECOND FLOOR AND HURRICANES ON THE GROUND FLOOR, AND AN 18TH CENTURY NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK, BUILT ON THE SITE OF THE FORMER RESIDENCE OF THE CAPUCHIN MONKS, AND DESIGNED TO MATCH THE ICONIC CABILDO, FLANKING THE OTHER SIDE OF ST. LOUIS CATHEDRAL.1. REX: THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SCHOOL OF DESIGN, A FIVE-GALLERY MULTIMEDIA EXHIBITION CELEBRATING A CENTURY AND A HALF OF THE ORGANIZATION THAT BUILT THE TEMPLATE AND FASHIONED THE MYTHS AND TRADITIONS THAT DEFINE NEW ORLEANS MARDI GRAS SHOWCASING TREASURES FROM LSM'S UNPARALLELED MARDI GRAS COLLECTION AND ARTIFACTS ON LOAN FROM OTHER INSTITUTIONAL AND PRIVATE COLLECTIONS. THE EXHIBITION OPENED AT FOUNDERS BALL III IN JANUARY 2022.2. THE LMF HELPED FACILITATE THE CLOSING OF MYSTERY IN MOTION: AFRICAN AMERICAN SPIRITUALITY IN MARDI GRAS, AN EXHIBITION IN WHICH THE LMF PLAYED A MAJOR FUNDING AND SUPPORT ROLE.III. AT THE CAPITOL PARK MUSEUM (BATON ROUGE), WITH THEMATIC EXHIBITS ON DIVERSE ASPECTS OF LOUISIANA HISTORY, INDUSTRY AND CULTURE, THE MUSEUM INCLUDES TWO PERMANENT EXHIBITS: GROUNDS FOR GREATNESS: LOUISIANA AND THE NATION AND EXPERIENCING LOUISIANA: DISCOVERING THE SOUL OF AMERICA.1. THE NEGRO MOTORIST GREEN BOOK A TRAVELING EXHIBITION DEVELOPED BY THE SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION TRAVELING EXHIBITION SERVICE (SITES) IN COLLABORATION WITH AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR, PHOTOGRAPHER AND CULTURAL DOCUMENTARIAN, CANDACY TAYLOR, OFFERING AN IMMERSIVE LOOK AT THE REALITY OF TRAVEL FOR AFRICAN AMERICANS IN MID-CENTURY AMERICA AND HOW THE ANNUAL GUIDE SERVED AS AN INDISPENSABLE RESOURCE FOR THE NATION'S RISING AFRICAN AMERICAN MIDDLE CLASS AND EVIDENCE OF A VIBRANT BUSINESS CLASS.IV. AT THE LOUISIANA SPORTS HALL OF FAME AND NORTHWEST LOUISIANA HISTORY MUSEUM (FRONT STREET NATCHITOCHES), A COMBINATION OF TWO PREVIOUS NATCHITOCHES' MUSEUMS, THE LOUISIANA SPORTS HALL OF FAME, AND THE OLD COURTHOUSE MUSEUM. THE LOUISIANA SPORTS HALL OF FAME CELEBRATES ACCOMPLISHMENTS BY LOUISIANA ATHLETES, COACHES, AND SPORTS STARS, WHILE THE NORTHWEST LOUISIANA HISTORY MUSEUM BRINGS 3,000 YEARS OF HISTORY FORWARD TO THE UNIQUE CULTURAL TRADITIONS THAT SURVIVE AND THRIVE IN THE REGION TODAY.1. LOUISIANA SPORTS HALL OF FAME NEW INDUCTEES EXHIBITION HONORING NEW INDUCTEES. 2. HEISMAN MEMORIAL TROPHY EXHIBITION HONORING THE STATE'S FOUR HEISMAN TROPHY WINNERS.

THROUGH A GRANT FROM THE LOUISIANA FIRST HORIZON FOUNDATION, THE LMF PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS CENTERED AROUND REX: THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SCHOOL OF DESIGN EXHIBITION FOR UNDERSERVED AUDIENCES AND TITLE 1 SCHOOLS, INCLUDING SENSORY FRIENDLY PROGRAMMING FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH AUTISM AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES, MULTI-WEEK ART MAKING COURSES FOR ADULTS AGES 55 AND ABOVE, TEACHING ARTIST LED PROGRAMMING FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN TITLE 1 SCHOOLS AND FREE FAMILY EVENTS. THROUGH A GRANT FROM THE HERB ALPERT FOUNDATION, LMF FUNDED THE BUILDOUT OF THE JAZZ EDUCATION LAB AND HOSTED CONCERTS.3. THROUGH A GRANT FROM THE ELLA WEST FREEMAN FOUNDATION THE LMF FUNDED VIRTUAL FIELD-TRIP PROGRAMS AVAILABLE TO 4TH-8TH GRADE STUDENTS IN THE GREATER NEW ORLEANS AREA.4. LMF ENGAGED ON SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS PROMOTING AND HIGHLIGHTING LMF AND MUSEUM PROJECTS AND EVENTS.2. II. FOR THE NEW ORLEANS JAZZ MUSEUM AT THE OLD U.S. MINT: 1. LMF CONTINUED TO PROVIDE FUNDING TO KEEP THE LOUISIANA HISTORICAL CENTER'S DONALD M. MARQUIS READING ROOM AT THE OLD U.S. MINT OPEN FOR PUBLIC ACCESS THROUGH PRIVATE DONATIONS AND A MAJOR GRANT FROM THE JAY PRITZKER FOUNDATION. III. FOR THE PRESBYTERE: 1.
