CONFERENCES, CONVENTIONS & MEETINGS HELD OR ATTENDED TO FURTHER THE PURPOSES OF ROTARY.


PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO ENABLE YOUTH TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM. ROTARY CLUBS HOST EXCHANGES FOR STUDENTS AGES 15-19 IN MORE THAN 100 COUNTRIES. THIS PROGRAM BUILDS PEACE, ALLOWING STUDENTS TO LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE, DISCOVER ANOTHER CULTURE, AND BECOME GLOBAL CITIZENS. INTERNATIONAL SERVICE INCLUDING XICOTEPEC, MEXICO HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS SUPPORTED BY ROTARY DISTRICT 6000 INCLUDING WATER PURIFICATION, SCHOOL BUILDINGS AND EQUIPMENT, AND HEALTH SCREENINGS.


ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARDS (RYLA) IS AN INTENSIVE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE ORGANIZED BY ROTARY CLUBS AND DISTRICTS WHERE YOUTH AGES 14-30 ARE GIVEN OPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS AS A LEADER.


COMMUNITY SERVICE GRANTS PROVIDE FUNDING FOR PROJECTS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES, INCLUDING FOR DISASTER RELIEF.
