THE ASSOCIATION REPRESENTS DELAWARE VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANIES ON A STATEWIDE & NATIONAL BASIS. THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO SERVE, PROMOTE, ADVOCATE, COORDINATE, REPRESENT AND SUPPORT THE INTEREST OF THE MEMBER COMPANIES IN THE PERFORMANCE OF PROVIDING FIRE, RESCUE, EMERGENCY MEDICAL, AND OTHER EMERGENCY RESPONSE RELATED SERVICES TO THE CITIZENS OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE.
