THE MUSEUM OF DEAF HISTORY, ARTS AND CULTURE WILL ADVANCE AND PRESERVE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DEAF PEOPLE, THEIR LANGUAGES, CULTURES AND EXPERIENCES IN THE UNITED STATES AND AROUND THE WORLD. FOR 2021, THE MUSEUM BUILDING WAS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID19 GLOBAL PANDEMIC. HOWEVER, THE MUSEUM MAINTAINED A VIRTUAL VISITOR PROGRAM WHICH EXPERIENCED 18,500 VISITORS IN 2021.
