SOUTH DAKOTA SNOW QUEEN FESTIVAL INC WAS STARTED TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG WOMEN IN SOUTH DAKOTA TO SERVE AS AMBASSADORS FOR THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA.WE PROVIDE GIRLS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 17-21 THE OPPORTUNITY TO ENHANCE THEIR PERSONAL AND LIFE SKILLS. THE GIRLS COMPETE FOR SCHOLARSHIPS AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE AMBASSADORS TO THEIR HOMETOWN AND SOUTH DAKOTA WHILE ON THEIRTRAVELS AND PERFORMING THEIR DUTIES. SOUTH DAKOTA JUNIOR SNOW QUEEN FESTIVAL IS HELD TO PROVIDE YOUNGER GIRLS, USUALLY HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN, THE OPPORTUNITY TO ENHANCE THEIR PERSONAL AND LIFE SKILLS. THE ORGANIZATION DID NOT DURING THE YEAR, RECIEVE ANY FUND DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, TO PAY PREMIUMS ON A PERSONAL BENEFIT CONTRACT.
