THE SOCIETY IS GIVEN THE DUTY TO OPERATE THE GAGE COUNTY FAIR GROUNDS AND TO CONDUCT THE ANNUAL COUNTY FAIR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY, COUNTY AND RESIDENTS. THE FAIR PROVIDES ENTERTAINMENT AND AWARDS PARTICIPANTS FOR THEIR PARTICIPATION IN VARIOUS JUDGED COMPETITIONS INVOLVING LIVESTOCK AND OTHER AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS. THE SOCIETY ALSO SPONSORS RACE CAR EVENTS FOR CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE COUNTY.
