THE AMERICAN ROYAL ANNUALLY MANAGES AND HOSTS ONE OF THE NATION'S LARGEST AGRICULTURE EXPOSITIONS INCLUDING LIVESTOCK SHOWS, PRESTIGIOUS HORSE SHOWS, PRCA RODEO, WORLD SERIES OF BARBEQUE CONTEST AND OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS. THESE EVENTS PROVIDE A FOCUS ON THE REGION'S INHERENT ECONOMIC AND AGRARIAN HERITAGE. THE CONTRIBUTION TO PURPOSE INCLUDES $880,161 IN PREMIUMS AND PRIZES PAID; $99,245 IN RIBBONS, AWARDS & TROPHIES; SCHOLARSHIPS OF $171,650; AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND JUDGING CONTESTS OF $191,749.
