THE MISSION OF THE EDUCATION LAW ASSOCIATION IS TO BE THE PREMIER ASSOCIATION FOR PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE, SCHOLARSHIP, AND INTERDISCIPLINARY DIALOGUE ABOUT LEGAL AND POLICY ISSUES AFFECTING ALL LEVELS OF EDUCATION. THE EDUCATION LAW ASSOCIATION WORKS TO IMPROVE EDUCATION BY DEVELOPING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN EDUCATION LAW, THE STUDY OF EDUCATION LAW, AND THE APPLICATION OF EDUCATION LAW IN THE FIELD WHILE PROMOTING DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSIVITY, AND EXCELLENCE IN ALL LEVELS OF EDUCATION.

CONFERENCE AND MEETING INFORMATION IS DISTRIBUTED TO ATTENDEES/MEMBERS REGARDING CURRENT LEGAL ISSUES AND TOPICS BY PROMOTING INTEREST IN AND UNDERSTANDING OF U.S. SCHOOL LAW. CONTINUING CREITS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO ATTEND. IT IS ALSO A FORUM FOR PRESENTATION OF PAPERS AND RESEARCH RELATED TO LAW TOPICS. THE EDUCATION LAW ASSOCIATION PUBLISHES BOOKS, PAMPHLETS, BLOGS, NEWS ARTICLES, AND SCHOLARLY STUDIES ON EDUCATION LAW TO SUPPORT RESEARCH AND LITIGATION. ITS NEWSLETTERS ALSO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR PROFESSIONAL VETTING ON CURRENT ISSUES BY MEMBERS AND SCHOLARS. THE ORGANIZATION'S WEBSITE, TWITTER, AND FACEBOOK ACCOUNTS ARE MAINTAINTED FOR ONGOING DISCOURSE AMOUNG ACADEMICIANS, ATTORNEYS, SCHOLARS, SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS, AND OTHER MEBMERS.
