THE STATEWIDE LEGAL SERVICES SYSTEM COORDINATED BY LEGAL SERVICES OF NEW JERSEY (LSNJ) OPENS APPROXIMATELY 40,000 NEW LEGAL REPRESENTATION CASES ANNUALLY. IN ADDITION TO ITS DIRECT REPRESENTATION, AN ESTIMATED 1.5 MILLION MORE ARE ASSISTED THROUGH WEB AND OTHER LEGAL INFORMATION, CLINICS, AND OTHER LEGAL EDUCATION ACTIVITIES. LSNJ ALSO COORDINATES AND SUPPORTS THE STATEWIDE LEGAL SERVICES SYSTEM, AND ENGAGES IN RELATED RESEARCH, AMICUS WORK, ADVOCACY, PUBLIC INFORMATION, TRAINING, AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES TO FURTHER ITS LEGAL AID MISSION.
