SCHOLARSHIPS: PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO 17 UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS SELECTED BY ACADEMIC MERIT AND LOW HOUSEHOLD INCOME. STUDENT RECEIVED $50 A MONTH AND MAINTAINED GPA THROUGH OUT THE YEAR. STUDENTS WERE MONITORED TO VERIFY IF THEY REMAINED ENROLLED DURING THE YEAR.
TEACHING AWARDS: AWARDED 149 FACULTY MEMBERS BASED ON TEACHING PRODUCTIVITY. SELECTION WAS BASED IN QUANTITATIVE TEACHING CRITERIA AND RECEIVED THE AWARD OF $50 MONTHLY DEPENDING ON THEIR TEACHING HOURS. FACULTY ARE CHECKED EVERY 3 MONTHS IF THEY REMAIN TEACHING/EMPLOYED BY THE UNIVERSITY.
