WE ADDED NEW DATA FROM AROUND 2,200 NEW GOVERNMENT STATIONS AND EXPANDED DATA AGGREGATED FROM LOW- AND MIDDLE-INCOME COUNTRIES. WE ALSO INCREASED THE STABILITY, RELIABILITY AND RESILIENCE OF OUR DATA PLATFORM, POSITIONING IT FOR CONTINUED GROWTH AND PROVISION OF DATA TO A LARGER AUDIENCE.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: THROUGH WEBINARS, TRAININGS, SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS, CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE, ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS, IMPACT STORIES AND MORE, WE HAVE INTRODUCED POTENTIAL NEW USERS TO THE OPENAQ DATA PLATFORM AND SUPPORTED EXISTING USERS. THROUGH OUR 2023 COMMUNITY AMBASSADOR PROGRAM, WE UPSKILLED 10 EMERGING AIR QUALITY LEADERS IN LOW- AND MIDDLE-INCOME COUNTRIES; THEIR PROJECTS RANGED FROM YOUTH AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY TO INTENSIVE ANALYSIS OF LONG-TERM LOCAL AIR POLLUTION TRENDS USING AIR SENSOR DATA. WE CONNECTED AIR QUALITY DATA PRODUCERS AND USERS ACROSS SECTORS AND GEOGRAPHIES TO SUPPORT AN INTERNATIONAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. THESE AND OTHER OUTREACH ACTIVITIES HAVE RESULTED IN GREATER USE OF THE PLATFORM FOR AIR QUALITY ANALYSIS AND CLEAN AIR ADVOCACY.
