THE CENTER IS OPEN SIX DAYS A WEEK AND OUR STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS OFFER MANY SERVICES TO THE HOMELESS, INCLUDING: COUNSELING, JOB PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE, LAUNDRY, SHOWER FACILITIES, MORNING AND AFTERNOON MEALS, AND SUBSIDIES TO THOSE NEEDING LODGING. ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED WITH PREPARING RESUMES, INTERVIEWING SKILLS, SECURING IDENTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR EMPLOYMENT. COUNSELING IS PROVIDED FOR PEOPLE STRUGGLING WITH ADDICTIONS AND MENTAL ILLNESSES. IN ADDITION TO AA MEETINGS, THE CENTER HAS TWO OPEN BIBLE CONVERSATIONS EACH DAY. THESE CONVERSATIONS OFTEN ADDRESS ISSUES RELATED TO HOMELESSNESS, ADDICTIONS, DEPRESSION AND RELATED TOPICS. WE ENABLED APPROXIMATELY 90 TO GAIN EMPLOYMENT, HOUSING, AND/OR TREATMENT IN THE PAST YEAR. DURING FY2022 THE CENTER SERVED APPROXIMATELY 29,614 GUESTS, WASHED 4,519 CLOTHES AND PROVIDED 6,816 SHOWERS.
