THE ASSOCIATION TRACKS AND PARTICIPATES IN WATER QUALITY REGULATORY ACTIVITIES AFFECTING SOUTH CAROLINA. IT MONITORS POLICY AND TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS. IT NEGOTIATED UTILITY ACCOMODATION MANUAL CHANGES WITH SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. ALSO, THE ASSOCIATION COMMENTED ON IMPAIRED WATERS LIST AND METHODOLOGY, NEGOTIATED NEW BACTERIA WATER QUALITY STANDARD AND IMPLEMENTATION RULES, NEGOTIATED NEW PERMIT LANGUAGE REGARDING FLOW MANAGEMENT, AND PARTICIPATED IN NUMEROUS MEETINGS WITH THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL.
