DURING 2021, ASD CONTINUED TO DEVELOP THE FOUNDATION FOR THE LAUNCH OF DEBATE PROGRAMS. THIS WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH ASD'S PARTNER, THE BROOKLYN PUBLIC LIBRARY AND THE ENGAGEMENT OF NATIONAL EXPERTS IN DEBATE. TRAINING MATERIALS AND PROGRAMS WERE COMPLETED TO ALLOW FOR BOTH IN PERSON AND ONLINE PARTICIPATION. THE INITIAL SERIES OF DEBATES WERE HELD IN THE FALL OF 2021
