WE WANT TO SEE TREATMENTS REFINED TO RESULT IN QUICKER RECOVERY TIMES, SHORTER HOSPITAL STAYS, AND MORE AND MORE CHILDREN LIVING LONG INTO ADULTHOOD. MUCH RESEARCH IS STILL NEEDED TO HELP THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN ACROSS THE NATION LIVING WITH CHD. WHEN YOU DONATE TO CHD RESEARCH, YOU CHANGE LIVES.

CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE ("CHD") IS WHEN THE HEART DOES NOT DEVELOP PROPERLY BEFORE BIRTH. IT IS THE NUMBER ONE BIRTH DEFECT AND MOST COMMON CAUSE OF INFANT MORTALITY. PROGRAM SERVICES ARE DIRECTED TOWARD RESEARCH RELATED TO CHD, AS WELL AS EFFORTS TO EDUCATION AND CREATE AWARENESS IN THE COMMUNITY.
