SOCIAL SKILLS - WEEKLY SOCIAL SKILLS CLASSES ARE PROVIDED FOR ELEMENTARY, TWEEN, TEEN, AND YOUNG ADULT AGE LEVELS. THE SOCIAL SKILL PROGRAM ADDRESSES VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION, SELF-ESTEEM, SELF-AWARENESS, SELF-ADVOCACY SKILLS, COPING AND SELF-REGULATION SKILLS, PEER TYPICAL INTERACTION, AND OTHER INTERPERSONAL SKILLS CRUCIAL FOR LIFELONG HAPPINESS AND INDEPENDENCE.SOCIAL MOTION MERGED WITH THE CENTER FOR PURSUIT (THE CENTER), EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2022. THE CENTER WILL CONTINUE PROVIDING SOCIAL MOTIONS PROGRAM SERVICES.


TRANSITION AND EMPLOYMENT CENTER - PROGRAM TO TRAIN, MENTOR, COACH, AND EMPLOY YOUNG ADULTS AS THEY TRANSITION OUT OF SCHOOL-BASED SITUATIONS INTO INCREASED INDEPENDENT LIVING ARRANGEMENTS. TRANSITION INCLUDES A BLEND OF CURRICULUM, ASSESSMENTS, AND WORK-BASED LEARNING TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR INTEGRATED EMPLOYMENT IN JOBS THAT MEET THEIR INTERESTS AND SKILLS.
