SOCIAL SKILLS - WEEKLY SOCIAL SKILLS CLASSES ARE PROVIDED FOR ELEMENTARY, TWEEN, TEEN, AND YOUNG ADULT AGE LEVELS. THE SOCIAL SKILL PROGRAM ADDRESSES VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION, SELF-ESTEEM, SELF-AWARENESS, SELF-ADVOCACY SKILLS, COPING AND SELF-REGULATION SKILLS, PEER TYPICAL INTERACTION, AND OTHER INTERPERSONAL SKILLS CRUCIAL FOR LIFELONG HAPPINESS AND INDEPENDENCE.
TRANSITION - PROGRAM EXPANDED TO TRAIN, MENTOR, COACH, AND EMPLOY YOUNG ADULTS AS THEY TRANSITION OUT OF SCHOOL-BASED SITUATIONS INTO INCREASED INDEPENDENT LIVING ARRANGEMENTS. TRANSITION INCLUDES A BLEND OF CURRICULUM, ASSESSMENTS, AND WORK-BASED LEARNING TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR INTEGRATED EMPLOYMENT IN JOBS THAT MEET THEIR INTERESTS AND SKILLS.
