THE STILL PLACE PROVIDED 49 UNIQUE FAMILY RETREATS FREE OF CHARGE TO 49 FAMILIES WITH SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN IN 2023. DIAGNOSES INCLUDED BRAIN TUMORS, SEVERE SEIZURE DISORDERS, LEUKEMIA, SARCOMA, SEVERE NEUROLOGIC IMPAIRMENT DUE TO BIRTH INJURIES AND INFECTIONS AND RETINOBLASTOMA. SEVEN 3-TO-4 DAY BEREAVEMENT RETREATS WERE PROVIDED TO BEREAVED PARENTS. 251 INDIVIDUALS ATTENDED RETREATS. 402 RETREAT DAYS WERE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE INCLUDING MOST MEALS, LODGING, ART, NATURE ACTIVITIES, EXCURSIONS AND ADVENTURES SUCH AS HORSEBACK RIDING, ZIP-LINING AND WHITEWATER RAFTING.
