RESILIENCY SURVEY: RESEARCH SURVEYS, IN 2021, SURVEYS WERE PERFORMED TO EVALUATE FACTORS DETERMING THE RESILIENCY OF THRIVING LONG-TERM HIV SURVIVORS VS NON-THRIVING SURVIVORS AND TO EVALUATE DEGREE AND TYPES OF STIGMA THAT HIV SURVIVORS FELT BECAUSE OF COVID.


AGING POSITIVELY: REUNION PROJECT EVENT: AN ALL-DAY EVENT THAT WAS IN-PERSON IN PAST YEARS, BUT WAS VIRTUAL IN 2021 DUE TO COVID. IT FEATURED A VARIETY OF SPEAKERS AND EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS ON HOW TO THRIVE AS PEOPLE GROW OLDER WITH HIV, INCLUDING A KEYNOTE ADDRESS FROM 80'S POP ICON ANDY BELL.


VIRTUAL VILLAGE: AS PART OF A 2 YEAR RESEARCH COLLABORATION WITH UC RIVERSIDE, USC, AND UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA BEGINNING IN 2021, WE WORKED WITH A BOARD OF COMMUNITY ADVISORS ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO DEVELOP A PILOT ONLINE PLATFORM DESIGNED TO HELP ADDRESS THE ISOLATION, LONELINESS, AND DEPRESSION ASSOCIATED WITH GROWING OLDER WITH HIV, WHICH OF COURSE WAS EXACERBATED BY THE COVID PANDEMIC.
