IMMERSIONS ARE 4 HOURS SESSIONS WHICH GIVE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN SAN ANTONIO THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE OUR EASTSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD. THE PURPOSE OF THE TIME IS TO LEARN ABOUT THE PEOPLE AND THE PLACE AND THE PROBLEMS THAT PLAGUE OUR COMMUNITY. STUDENTS LEARN THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO INTERVIEW PEOPLE AND THEY ARE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY AND PLATFORM TO HAVE OPEN DISCUSSIONS ABOUT THE GOOD AND BAD IMPACTING OUR NEIGHBORHOOD THROUGH AN END OF YEAR ART EXHIBIT CALLED WE LIVE HERE.
