OUR 13-SESSION RESEARCH-BASED M.O.M PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO HELP WOMEN WHO ARE PREGNANT OR ARE UP TO 12 MONTHS POSTPARTUM. WOMEN MEET AS A GROUP, TWICE A WEEK WITH A TRAINED TRAUMA-INFORMED FACILITATOR, TO CREATE A PLAN FOR LIFE THAT PRODUCES AN OVERALL HEALTHY EMOTIONAL, MENTAL, AND PHYSICAL WELL-BEING. SESSIONS INTEGRATE DIDACTIC TEACHING, ROLE PLAYING, INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES, PRE- AND POST-NATAL YOGA, FETAL AND PARENTAL LITERACY, AND GROUP DISCUSSION. WOMEN JOIN MOM BECAUSE THEY HEAR HOW POWERFUL IT IS.
THE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES PROGRAM RESEARCH-BASED CURRICULUM IS AN ENJOYABLE, ENGAGING, AND INTERACTIVE TEN-SESSION PROGRAM FOR YOUNG LADIES IN GRADES 6-12. THE PROGRAM AIMS TO PREVENT PREMATURE PREGNANCIES, AIDS, AND STDS, WHILE ADDRESSING THE CHALLENGES OF ACADEMIC SUCCESS, RELATIONSHIPS, SELF-ESTEEM, AND PEER PRESSURE. OUR HIGHLY INTERACTIVE PROGRAM INCLUDES LECTURES, CLASSROOM DISCUSSIONS, INTERACTIVE GAMES, LITERACY ACTIVITIES, GOAL SETTING JOURNAL AND A BOOK CLUB COMPONENT.
THE AFTERPARTY IS A YEARLONG PROGRAM THAT BRINGS M.O.M PROGRAM ALUMNI TOGETHER TO BUILD A TRIBE OF SUPPORT, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND RESOURCES. THE PROGRAM CONSISTS OF MONTHLY MENTORING, BI-MONTHLY WORKSHOPS, INCENTIVES FOR GOALS AND STRATEGIC FAMILY PLANNING. THE AIM IS TO DECREASE TOXIC STRESS, INFANT MORTALITY AND SUBSEQUENT PREGNANCIES WHILE INCREASING SELF-AWARENESS AND GOAL ACCOMPLISHMENT. THIS POWERFUL SERIES ADDRESSES THE CYCLES OF SYSTEMIC RACISM, WHILE OFFERING REAL SOLUTIONS TO BREAK BARRIERS THAT HAVE BOUND WOMEN TO PATTERNS OF GENERATIONAL CYCLES.
