PPAN WORKS ACROSS COLORADO TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE LAND MANAGEMENT PRACTICES, SAFEGUARD PUBLIC HEALTH AND PRESERVE BIODIVERSITY TO MAKE OUR STATE A SAFE HAVEN FOR ALL WHO LIVE HERE - FROM POLLINATORS TO PEOPLE.

PPAN LAUNCHED A CO POLLINATOR LICENSE PLATE PROGRAM AND ASSOCIATED SMALL GRANT HABITAT FUND PROGRAM. WE CHAMPIONED A NEW CO NATIVE POLLINATING INSECTS STUDY. OUR EDUCATION AND OUTREACH EFFORTS REACHED OVER 5000 PEOPLE THROUGH EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, INCLUDING THE CO POLLINATOR SUMMIT, WEBINARS, PRESENTATIONS, AND PLANT AND SEED SWAPS. WE CREATED A NEW VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT PROGRAM TO SUPPORT OUTREACH PROGRAMS, LOCAL CHAPTERS, A POLLINATOR-SAFE COMMUNITIES PROGRAM, AND SUPPORT CITY PARK HORTICULTURISTS. WE CONTINUED TO GROW OUR POLLINATOR PLEDGE PROGRAM AND ENCOURAGED A COUNTY AND A CITY TO BECOME MORE POLLINATOR-FRIENDLY.
