THIS IS A NOTEWORTHY ACHIEVEMENT DUE TO OUR OBSERVING STRICT ACTOR'S EQUITY ASSOCIATION GUIDELINES FOR COVID-19 AND KEEPING EVERYONE HEALTHY AND SAFE DURING THE ENTIRE PERFORMANCE REHEARSAL AND RUN.PRE-PANDEMIC (2019), BLACK ARTS MKE EMPLOYED 100 PERFORMING BIPOC ARTISTS (NEARLY $240K ARTIST 1099 WAGES). THANKS TO GENEROUS ARTS SECTOR SUPPORT, WE WILL CONTINUE TO EXECUTE AGAINST OUR GOALS FOR CAPACITY BUILDING, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND PARTNERSHIP ACTIVITIES, AND MARKETING/PROMOTIONAL EFFORTS TO ENCOURAGE ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION.
