AMERICAN COLLEGE OF OCCUPATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL MEDICINE (ACOEM) PROVIDES LEADERSHIP TO PROMOTE OPTIMAL HEALTH AND SAFETY OF WORKERS, WORKPLACES AND ENVIRONMENTS BY: EDUCATING HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND THE PUBLIC; STIMULATING RESEARCH; ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF PRACTICE; GUIDING WORKPLACE AND PUBLIC POLICY; AND ADVANCING THE FIELD OF OCCUPATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL MEDICINE.

CONDUCT POST GRADUATE AND BASIC CURRICULUM SEMINARS, SELF-ASSESSMENT EXAMS, EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS, AND PROGRAMS FOR PROFESSIONALS SPECIALIZING IN OCCUPATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL MEDICINE. ALSO INCLUDES ANNUAL OEM SPECIALTY MEETING THAT PROVIDES EDUCATION ON CURRENT PRACTICE ISSUES BY PROVIDING COURSES, SESSION RECORDINGS, WORKSITE VISITS, RELEVANT RESEARCH AND EXHIBITS


ACOEM MEMBERSHIP PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR PHYSICIANS AND ASSOCIATED HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS TO ENHANCE THEIR CAREERS THROUGH EDUCATION, NETWORKING, AND LEADERSHIP.
