THE MISSION OF HEAL IS TO EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS WITH A SAFE, PROFESSIONAL, AND THERAPEUTIC EQUINE EXPERIENCE. HEAL SUPPORTS THE LIMITLESS EMOTIONAL GROWTH AND HEALING POTENTIAL CREATED BY THE BOND BETWEEN HORSE AND HUMAN. HEAL WAS BUILT TO PROVIDE EQUINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES (EAP) AND EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING (EAL) DIRECTLY TO OUR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

IN 2023 LISA D'ALESSIO REMAINED THE CLINICAL AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE HEAL FOUNDATION. ON AUGUST 25, 2023 THE BOD OF THE HEAL FOUNDATION VOTED TO UNANIMOUSLY INVITE DEVENIE CLORAN AND BEAU LESCARBEAU TO JOIN THE BOD. DEVENIE IS A RETIRED EMT AND WORKS IN GOVERNMENT DEFENSE CONTRACTING. BEAU IS A VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER AND RETIRED ARMY LEUITENANT. BOTH ARE LONG-TIME FRIENDS OF HEAL AND PRESENT A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH AND OUTREACH WITH THE VETERAN AND FIRST RESPONDER COMMUNITY.


HEAL LAUNCHED A NEW INSTAGRAM HANDLE TO EXPAND ITS SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE IN 2023. THIS ALLOWS FOR A MORE COHESIVE BRAND IDENTITY AND AN IMPROVED CLIENT EXPERIENCE. ALSO, THE INSTAGRAM HANDLE ALLOWS FOR HEAL TO REACH MORE CLIENTS AND PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS BY HAVING AN INCREASED ONLINE AND SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE.


HEAL CONTINUED FUNDRAISING EFFORTS VIA THE HEAL FIRST ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT IN JUNE 2023, HENRY'S ANNUAL HEAL MOTORCYCLE RIDE FOR VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS (AUGUST 2023) AND THE HEAL ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT AT THE FARM IN OCTOBER 2023.
