THE TWO HARBORS AREA FOOD SHELF (THAFS) HAS BEEN SERVING THE TWO HARBORS AREA IN RURAL LAKE COUNTY MN (AS WELL AS SURROUNDING COUNTIES OF ST. LOUIS AND COOK) SINCE 1982, BECOMING OUR OWN 501(C )(3) NONPROFIT EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2015. OPEN ON TUESDAYS FROM 10:00 AM TO 4:00 PM, WE SERVED 123,875 POUNDS OF PERISHABLE AND NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS TO 1,179 TOTAL HOUSEHOLDS WITH 2,591 TOTAL INDIVIDUALS VISITING THE PROGRAM WHICH SERVED 299 UNIQUE AREA HOUSEHOLDS.
