THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE: TO HELP IMPROVE THE LEVEL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION OF PERSONNEL CONCERNED WITH THE MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF EQUIPMENT; TO SERVE THE HEAVY EQUIPMENT USER INDUSTRIES BY ESTABLISHING GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH ANY AND ALL GROUPS AFFECTING THE DESIGN AND IMPROVEMENT OF DESIGN OF HEAVY EQUIPMENT; TO FACILITATE THE EXCHANGE OF TECHNICAL INFORMATION IN HEAVY EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE; AND TO AID IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF EQUIPMENT, ITS MANAGEMENT AND ITS MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT.

MEETINGS - THE ANNUAL MEETING IS DESIGNED TO PROMOTE THE FUTURE OF EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT AND HOW TO TAKE YOUR FLEET OPERATIONS TO THE NEXT LEVEL. THE ANNUAL MEETING IS HELD EVERY MARCH. THE SUSTAINABILITY SUMMIT IS HELD EVERY SUMMER. EQUIPMENT SHIFT WAS HELD IN NORTH CAROLINA WITH 250 ATTENDEES. EACH EVENT FEATURES 10-15 EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS WITH A MIX OF PANEL DISCUSSIONS AND SMALL GROUP DISCUSSIONS, INCLUDING NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES.


EDUCATION - PROGRAMS ARE HOSTED VIRTUALLY AND IN PERSON. EDUCATION INCLUDES THE IGNITE LEARNING LAB, TRIANGLE TALKS, AND THE EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (EMS) CERTIFICATE. AEMP HOSTED TWO FINANCIAL LEARNING LABS. AEMP EDUCATION HELPS TRAIN EQUIPMENT MANAGERS FOR THE FUTURE AND PREPARE THEM FOR INDUSTRY CERTIFICATIONS AND ADVANCED TRAINING. AEMP UNIVERISTY IS OUR ONLINE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH VIDEOS, ARTICLES AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL CONTENT.
