A TOTAL OF 5,679 VOLUNTEERS ASSISTED WITH KEEP OMAHA BEAUTIFUL'S EFFORTS TO CONTRIBUTE TO A HEALTHY URBAN ECOSYSTEM IN 2023. THIS EQUATED TO MORE THAN 12,000 HOURS OF SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY. VOLUNTEERS COMPLETED 500 LITTER CLEANUPS OF PUBLIC AREAS, AND 3,670 BAGS OF LITTER WERE COLLECTED. KEEP OMAHA BEAUTIFUL ALSO CONDUCTED ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAMMING AND SERVICE-LEARNING PROJECTS WITH 10,300 YOUTH AND ADULTS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION PLANTED 314 NATIVE TREES AT LOCAL PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND PARKS, ENGAGED MORE THAN 22,971 ONLINE VISITORS VIA ITS OMAHA RECYCLE RIGHT SOCIAL-MEDIA CAMPAIGN, CONDUCTED ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CERTIFICATION WORKSHOPS FOR 246 EDUCATORS AND 4171 EVENT PARTICIPANTS ENGAGED IN WASTE REDUCTION AND RECYCLING ACTIVITIES.
