MSPAPO SUPPORTED THE MISSION OF ABMS BY WORKING WITH DIFFERENT HEALTH CARE ORGANIZATIONS TO RECOGNIZE FOR RECERTIFICATION CREDIT THE WORK PHYSICIANS ARE PERFORMING TO IMPROVE THEIR PRACTICES, ENHANCE PATIENT SAFETY, PARTICIPATE IN APPROPRIATE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT WORK AND IMPROVE THE OVERALL CARE DELIVERED TO PATIENTS. MSPAPO OFFERED AN OPTION FOR ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT PHYSICIAN INVOLVEMENT IN LOCAL QUALITY/PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT (QI/PI) INITIATIVES AND FACILITATE PHYSICIANS EARNING CREDIT FOR CONTINUING CERTIFICATION.
