SUSTAINABLE ELECTRONICS RECYCLING INTERNATIONAL (SERI) ADMINISTERS "THE SUSTAINABLE ELECTRONICS REUSE AND RECYCLING (R2)STANDARD- AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAM AS THE PRIMARY TOOL FOR ACHIEVING SERI'S MISSION. THIS STANDARD PROMOTES RESPONSIBLE PRACTICES FOR ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND MANAGEMENT OF USE OF ELECTRONICS. IN 2021, SERI FACILITATED THE MULTI-STAKEHOLDER CONSENSUS BODY TO REVISE THE R2 STANDARD, CONTINUED OVERSIGHT OF THE R2 CERTIFICATION PROGRAM, AND IMPLEMENT VERSION 3 OF THE R2 STANDARD AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAM. SERI CONDUCTS ONGOING EDUCATION AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE REUSE AND RECYCLING OF ELECTRONICS.
