OCEAN KITSDESCRIPTION CORAL REEFS: A HYDROUS LEARNING EXPEDITION IS A HANDS-ON, STUDENT LED LEARNING CURRICULUM THAT WAS ORIGINALLY DEVELOPED AND PROTOTYPED WITH A NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC EDUCATION GRANT. THIS OCEAN EDUCATION KIT WAS DESIGNED WITH NEXT GENERATION SCIENCE STANDARDS, TARGETING MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS, AND INCLUDES A CARDBOARD VIEWER, A 3D-PRINTED CORAL MODEL, FOUR SETS OF ACTIVITY CARDS, AND A 122-PAGE DIVE JOURNAL INCLUDING 6 LESSONS THAT CAN BE COMPLETED IN 8 HOURS TOTAL, IDEALLY SPREAD ACROSS DAYS OR WEEKS. THEY ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE AND HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED TO SOME TEACHERS FOR FREE AS PART OF A NATIONAL DONATION PROGRAM.
