GOVERNANCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY:DEMOCRACY FUND VOICE BELIEVES THAT CHECKS AND BALANCES, THE RULE OF LAW, AND HEALTHY GOVERNING INSTITUTIONS ARE ESSENTIAL FEATURES OF OUR CONSTITUTIONAL SYSTEM. WE SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS THAT DEFEND AGAINST ABUSES OF POWER, EMPOWER CONGRESS TO EMBRACE ITS ARTICLE ONE POWERS, AND HELP STRENGTHEN CONGRESS' ABILITY TO FUNCTION AND RESPOND TO THE NEEDS OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
PARTICIPATION AND ELECTIONS:DEMOCRACY FUND VOICE BELIEVES OUR COUNTRY IS STRONGER WHEN MORE AMERICANS ARE CIVICALLY ENGAGED AND WHEN MORE ELIGIBLE VOTERS PARTICIPATE AND ARE FULLY INFORMED IN ELECTIONS.
