Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

RESONATE'S LARGEST PROGRAM IS OUR STORYTELLING FOR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. THROUGH THIS TWO-DAY TRAINING, PARTICIPANTS LEARN TO REDEFINE LEADERSHIP SO THAT IT IS ACCESSIBLE, IDENTIFY THEIR VALUES, AND HOW THEY HAVE DRIVEN THE CHOICES IN THEIR LIVES, AND TELL A CONFIDENT LEADERSHIP STORY THAT REPRESENTS WHO THEY ARE. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM WOMEN GAIN THE CONFIDENCE AND ABILITY TO ADVOCATE FOR THEMSELVES AND OTHERS, AND MAKE THE CHANGE THEY WISH TO SEE IN THEIR LIVES AND COMMUNITIES. IN 2021, WE TRAINED 1,963 PARTICIPANTS IN OUR STORYTELLING FOR LEADERSHIP, ACTION LEADERSHIP, COVID-19 RECOVERY INITIATIVE PROGRAM. AS A RESULT, 83% TOOK LEADERSHIP ROLE, 18% STARTED BUSINESS, AND 22% GOT PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES(THIS MEANS EITHER GETTING A JOB OR PROMOTION AT WORK, GETTING ACADEMIC OPPORTUNITIES). 88% INCREASED THEIR PROACTIVITY.

RESONATE'S PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM WORKS WITH JOB-SEEKING YOUTH AND PROFESSIONALS TO DEVELOP THE SOFT SKILLS NEEDED TO GET JOBS AND PERFORM WELL IN THE WORKPLACE. BY COMBINING TECHNICAL TRAINING WITH SOFT SKILLS LIKE COMMUNICATION, TEAM BUILDING, PRIORITIZATION, PROFESSIONAL READINESS, SEEKING OUT OPPORTUNITIES AND GOAL SETTING, RESONATE HELPS PROFESSIONALS IN EAST AFRICA LEARN THE LEADERSHIP SKILLS NECESSARY TO ADVANCE IN THEIR CAREERS. IN 2021, WE TRAINED 429 PARTICIPANTS IN OUR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

RESONATE'S TRAINING OF FACILITATORS PROGRAM (TOF). THROUGH AN INTENSIVE LEARNING PROCESS, RESONATE TRAINS FACILITATORS FROM A PARTNER ORGANIZATION'S STAFF TO DELIVER RESONATE'S STORYTELLING FOR LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS. IT ALLOWS PARTNERS TO REWARD AND DEVELOP HIGH POTENTIAL EMPLOYEES BY NOMINATING THEM TO TAKE PART IN THE TOF PROGRAM WHERE THEY BUILD THEIR FACILITATION AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS. IN 2021 WE TRAINED 144 FACILITATORS IN OUR TRAINING OF FACILITATORS PROGRAM.
