THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO BE FOCUSED ON RESCUING ABUSED AND NEGLECTED ANIMALS BOTH LOCALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY - REHABILITATING THEM AND FINDING THEM THEIR FOREVER HOMES. WE EMBRACE COMPASSION, EDUCATION AND LEGISLATION TO GUIDE HEARTS AND MINDS TOWARD A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR ANIMALS.

FOR THE DURATION OF 2020, ANIMAL HOPE AND WELLNESS FOUNDATION RESCUED ABUSED AND NEGLECTED DOGS LOCALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY, ALL RECEIVING PROPER MEDICAL CARE, TRANSPORT TO OUR FOUNDATION AND REHABILITATION WHILE THEY AWAITED THEIR FOREVER HOMES. WE CONTINUED ALL OF OUR ACTIVE PROGRAMS TO RAISE AWARENESS AND TO TEACH COMPASSION THROUGH ANIMALS; THESE PROGRAMS INCORPORATE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES FROM PRE-KINDERGARTEN TO SENIOR CITIZENS; WITH SCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR AT RISK YOUTH AND EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS FOR LOCAL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS. DUE TO COVID-19 OUR PROGRAMS AND GENERAL OPERATIONS, ASIDE FROM LOCAL RESCUE AND SOME INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT WHEN PERMITTED, PAUSED SO WE COULD REMAIN SAFE AND HEALTHY IN THE WORKPLACE. DESPITE BEING CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC, OUR LOCAL RESCUES CONTINUED AND CONSISTED OF PULLING FROM SHELTERS LOCATED THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, ABANDONED ANIMALS ON THE STREETS, OWNER SURRENDERS AND ABUSE/NEGLECT SITUATIONS FOUND THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA OR THE INTERNET.
