THE PURPOSE OF TEXOMA YOUTH SPORTS ASSOCIATION IS TO FIRMLY IMPLANT IN THE YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITY, THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT, PROMOTION, AND TEACHING OF VARIOUS SPORTS, THE IDEALS OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, HONESTY, COURAGE, LOYALTY, AND REVERANCE, SO THAT THEY MAY BE FINER, STRONGER, AND HAPPIER CHILDREN AND WILL GROW TO BE GOOD, CLEAN, HEALTHY ADULTS.

WITH THE HELP OF OVER 30 VOLUNTEERS, THE ORGANIZATION SOUGHT TO DEVELOP VALUABLE CHARACTER TRAITS AND A HEALTHY ACTIVE LIFESTYLE IN AREA YOUTH THROUGH ORGANIZING AND FACILITATING A YOUTH BASEBALL LEAGUE. DURING THE YEAR, 775 CHILDREN ON 45 TEAMS PARTICIPATED IN APPROXIMATELY 425 BASEBALL GAMES AND 3 TOURNAMENTS.
WITH THE HELP OF OVER 60 VOLUNTEERS, THE ORGANIZATION SOUGHT TO DEVELOP VALUABLE CHARACTER TRAITS AND A HEALTHY ACTIVE LIFESTYLE IN AREA YOUTH THROUGH ORGANIZING AND FACILITATING A YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE. DURING THE YEAR, 125 CHILDREN ON 7 TEAMS PARTICIPATED IN APPROXIMATELY 185 SOCCER GAMES.
