THE USA FEDERATION FOR SPORT CHEERING SERVES AS THE NATIONAL GOVERNING BODY FOR SPORT CHEERING IN THE UNITED STATES AND IS RECOGNIZED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CHEER UNION. USA CHEER EXISTS TO SERVE THE CHEER COMMUNITY, INCLUDING CLUB CHEERING (ALL-STAR), YOUTH RECREATIONAL CHEER, TRADITIONAL SCHOOL BASED CHEER PROGRAMS, AND THE GROWING SPORT OF STUNT. USA CHEER HAS THREE PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: PROMOTE SAFETY AND SAFETY EDUCATION FOR CHEER IN THE UNITED STATES, HELP GROW AND DEVELOP INTEREST AND PARTICIPATION IN CHEER THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES, AND REPRESENT THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN THE INTERNATIONAL CHEER COMPETITIONS.

NATIONAL GOVERNING BODY FOR SPORT OF CHEER- USA CHEER PROVIDES SAFETY & RULES TRAINING IN ADDITION TO COACHING AND ATHLETE PROTECTION TRAINING FOR THE COACHES AND ATHLETES IN CHEER AND STUNT.
US NATIONAL TEAMS - USA CHEER SUPPORTS AND TRAINS 17 US NATIONAL TEAMS REPRESENTING CHEER AND DANCE IN THE INTERNATIONAL CHEER UNION WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS. USA CHEER ALSO SENDS US NATIONAL TEAM REPRESENTATIVES TO INTERNATIONAL EVENTS SUCH AS THE FISU CHAMPIONSHIP AND THE PAN AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP.
STUNT - USA CHEER CREATED THE NEW SPORT OF STUNT. USA CHEER HAS INITIATIVES TO EXPAND THE NEW SPORT ACROSS THE COUNTRY FROM COLLEGE, HIGH SCHOOL, YOUTH AND CLUB PROGRAMS. THIS NEW SPORT IS DESIGNED TO SATISFY TITLE IX REQUIREMENTS AT THE COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL. IN THIS EXPANSION, USA CHEER SUPPORTS REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS AND THE COLLEGE STUNT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
