THE BLACKBAUD GIVING FUND HARNESSES THE POWER OF CORPORATE GIVING TO MAKE GRANTS FROM DONOR ADVISED FUNDS THAT SUPPORT DIVERSE PHILANTHROPIC CAUSES TO DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL CHARITIES. THE BLACKBAUD GIVING FUND ALSO MAKES GRANTS FROM DONOR ADVISED FUNDS THAT SUPPORT PEER TO PEER CHARITABLE GIVING FOR INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS. THE BLACKBAUD GIVING FUND OVERSEES, ASSESSES, COMBINES, AND DISTRIBUTES GRANTS ON A TIMELY BASIS AT THE END OF EACH CAMPAIGN TO VETTED CHARITIES THAT QUALIFY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 501(C)(3). IN 2023, GRANTS TOTALED $589,235,459 AND SUPPORTED A VARIETY OF CHARITABLE CAUSES INCLUDING EDUCATION, HUMAN SERVICES FOR THE DISTRESSED AND UNDERPRIVILEGED, SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, HEALTH, ARTS/HUMANITIES, RELIGION, CHILDREN AND YOUTH, WILDLIFE AND ANIMAL WELFARE, DISEASE PREVENTION, DISASTER RELIEF, AND INTERNATIONAL AID. IN 2023, BBGF WORKED WITH CORPORATIONS TO RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEES, MATCHING GRANTS FROM THEIR EMPLOYERS, AND DIRECT DONATIONS FROM CORPORATIONS AND CORPORATE FOUNDATIONS. DONORS MAKE RECOMMENDATION(S) AT THE TIME OF CONTRIBUTION AND BBGF OVERSEES, ASSESSES, COMBINES, AND DISTRIBUTES GRANTS ON A TIMELY CADENCE (MONTHLY) TO VETTED CHARITIES THAT QUALIFY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 501(C)(3).
